Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze is a 1975 American pulp hero action film starring Ron Ely as Doc Savage. This was the last film completed by George Pal. Doc Savage first appeared in Doc Savage Magazine #1 in March of 1933. In 1964, Bantam Books began reprinting thee magazine stories in paperback. Lester Dent created the character, but the stories were published under Street and Smith house name of Kenneth Robeson.

In the movie, Doc Savage has returned to New York. The Eastern Columbia Building in downtown Los Angeles was used for the New York scenes. The scenes include an assassin walking close to the iconic clock on the building. Film fans are probably aware of the building because of the famous Predator II scene at the building.

In addition, Bronson Caves was used to portray the unexplored area of Hidalgo. The area was decorated to appear as a jungle, but the caves are fairly easy to identify.
