In this 1974 political conspiracy film, Warren Beatty stars as Joseph Frady a reporter digging into the Parallax Corporation. The building serving as the Parallax Corporation’s West Coast offices was originally completed in 1972 to serve as as the headquarters for CNA Financial Corporation.
In the film, Frady visits the offices and completes an application. If you own the movie, pause on the Parallax Corporation Division of Human Engineering Personality Inventory test, it is very interesting, such as #95 – “I have never vomited blood.”
Frady meets his friend former FBI agent Will Turner to get a fake identification to use to apply for a position at Parallax. They meet at Griffith Park & Southern Railroad miniature train ride.
