This 1981 made-for-television movie reunited the cast (well mostly) from the 1960s tv series. Fed Gwynne, Al Lewis, and Yvonne De Carlo all reprised their roles.

In the movie the old City Hall portrayed a police station. The old City Hall, also, portrayed the police station in the Hunter television series. The façade was kept after the new city hall was built in the same area.
