The Couch Film Locations

The Couch is a 1962 psychological thriller from a screenplay by Robert Bloch and Blake Edwards. Charles Campbell (Grant Williams), a paroled rapist, must undergo daily psychiatric sessions as a condition of his release. Charles is not well and decides to stab random Angelinos while still going to his therapy sessions.

The intro of the movie follows Charles as he walks along S. Broadway in downtown Los Angeles.

One of Charles stabbings takes places at the corner of S. Broadway and W. 7th St. in downtown Los Angeles.

The Burlington Coat Factory store was previously the Bullock’s Department Store. John G. Bullock opened up this store in 1907 and the department store remained in operation until 1983.
