One of my favorite movies and always on the rotation during Halloween.

Tracking down the old downtown of fictional Point Dume, California, took a little investigating. Thom (Michael Greeer) strolls down the empty streets one night. He witnesses the police overwhelmed by the zombie/vampires.

The area is the Old Culver Center Shopping District. The area has changed a lot with the store fronts no longer on Culver Center Street. The Culver City Historical Society has some good historical pictures and a little history on the district.

Late one evening, Laura (Anitra Ford) goes into the local Ralphs supermarket. This is such a chilling scene. The Ralph’s was easy to locate because when Code Red released their DVD, they had posted the location of the Ralph’s and Fox Venice on the old IMDB message board.

Another chilling scene. Toni (Joy Band) goes to see a movie and is consumed by the theater patrons. Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye is a 1950 film noir crime movie starring James Cagney.
