Blood Diner Film Locations

Blood Diner(1987) Film Locations

Blood Diner is a type of movie me and my friends would have rented in the 1980s. Awhile back I received the Lionsgate 6 Movie Pack collection as a gift and was able to enjoy this ridiculous movie once again.

The diner the two brothers, Michael Tutman (Rick Burks) and George Tutman (Carl Crew), own intrigued me, so I had to track it down.

The façade has slightly changed, but the building was fairly easy to find. If you haven’t seen the movie the Tutman brothers are working with their serial killer uncle Anwar Namtut (Drew Godderis) in resurrecting the ancient Lumerian goddess Sheetar (Tanya Papanicolas). They do this by killing female patrons of their vegetarian diner.

The movie was originally conceived to be a sequel to 1963s Blood Feast directed by Herschell Gordon Lewis. The plot of Blood Feast focuses on a food caterer named Fuad Ramses (Mal Arnold) who kills women as a sacrifice to his “Egyptian goddess” Ishtar.

Jackie Kong was in her twenties when she directed this movie. She had previously made The Being (1983) and Night Patrol (1984) before this film.

In the movie, the Tutman brothers end up sacrificing a victim at Bronson Caves.
